My 2026 Goals as an Aviation Photographer

I’m not big on dramatic “new year, new me” posts.

But I am big on clarity.

So here’s what I want to accomplish this year as an aviation photographer.

1. Elevate Private Jet Photography Standards

The bar in aircraft marketing imagery is inconsistent.

Some listings are beautifully executed.
Others look like someone shot them in a hurry before lunch.

I want every aircraft I photograph to feel intentional.

Accurate color.
Clean composition.
Controlled lighting.

Private jet photography should feel refined — not rushed.

2. Expand Geographic Reach

Last year had me traveling more for business aviation photography, and I want to continue that.

More FBO ramps.
More operators.
More relationships.

Aircraft move globally. The photography should keep up.

3. Improve the Process, Not Just the Photos

The experience matters.

Clear communication.
Preparation checklists.
Efficient shoot days.

Aircraft photography should reduce stress for brokers — not add to it.

4. Stay Curious

The aviation industry evolves quickly.

Cabin design changes.
Lighting systems improve.
Marketing platforms shift.

My goal is to keep refining how I approach aircraft marketing photography so the images stay current and competitive.

And yes, I still want to enjoy it.

Because if I’m not enjoying the process, the work loses something.

If you're planning to sell an aircraft in 2026 and want imagery that supports serious buyers, let's connect.
